Calling all young wordsmiths! Join us for an after-hours lit night at the library! Hone your skills at the Open Mic by sharing your original work in a supportive space. Feeling competitive?
Sign up for the Poetry Slam and battle it out with your fiercest rhymes!
Doors open at 5:30. Event starts at 6:00pm.
Light refreshments will be provided.
RSVP for either:
The Open Mic [10] 3 minute max. Open mic participants may accompany themselves with a musical instrument.
The Poetry Slam [10] - Slam participants need to have three poems ready to perform.
This is a youth event and open to a public audience. While we do not wish to limit your artistic expression, shared poems should be limited to a PG-13 / 14A content level.
