Airdrie Public Library’s Summer Reading Club is back!
There are two ways to participate in the Summer Reading Club this summer.
Reading Logs: You do not need to register to participate in tracking your reading hours. Instead, stop by the library to pick up a reading log from the front desk and read to win. Participants earn prizes for every 3 hours spent reading and have the chance to win one of the grand prizes after reading 15 hours. After a participant has read for 15 hours, every additional 3 hours earns them another ballot into the grand prize draw. Grand prizes include a Fire 7 Kids Pro tablet and a Waterproof Video Action Camera!
Registered Participants: Registering your child guarantees them a place in the program for the entire summer and ensures them a spot in our weekly sessions. This program keeps participants engaged throughout the summer by offering activities such as crafts, games, and more. Starting the week of July 12 this program will be outdoors in Nose Creek Park. In case of bad weather registrants will be contacted about switching to Zoom.
Grade 4 - 5: Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. (Full)
Grade 4 - 5: Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.
Registered participants will also compete in teams. They can then earn points for their team by attending sessions. Members of the winning team take home a book of their own from a provided selection.
