Freedom to Read Week at APL

February 21st – February 27th, 2021

Each year, libraries and individuals across Canada reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom and the fundamental right of every person to freedom of thought, belief, opinion, and expression.  Canadians have the freedom to choose what they want to read, and only the courts alone have the authority to restrict reading material.
