How to get a Free Library Card

Airdrie Public Library is part of the Marigold Library System which is part of The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC) library systems. We are also a member of  The Alberta Library (TAL).

If you live in the City of Airdrie, Rocky View County, or within the Marigold Library System area , you can get an Airdrie Public Library card.

You must be 13+ to have your own account, but younger children can have their own card if it is connected to a parent’s or guardian’s account.

Airdrie Public Library cards are FREE.

Patrons can request new library memberships here to access online resources.

Valid address ID is required at the time of registration, or on your first visit to the library after online registration. Valid ID includes: 

  • driver's license
  • utility statement
  • rental agreement

Memberships can be renewed online if there are no outstanding fines.

If you need to update your contact information click here.

Do you teach at an Airdrie school?

If so, we offer an Educator membership card for the school year that is separate from your personal membership.

Have the application form signed by your school principal and come see us at the Customer Service desk.
