A library sponsored program for adults looking to share their writing and get constructive feedback from other writers are welcome to this drop-in weekly group.

The Airdrie Lions Club will be visiting the library to provide free vision screening for children under 6 years of age.

Created for preschoolers ages 1 -3 who need to move and actively participate. This 30-minute program focuses on simple action songs, finger plays, use of simple props, and simple stories.

Drop-In for 30 minutes of rhymes, songs, simple stories, fingerplays and movement. Connect with your little one in this fun and interactive program. It is also a great way to interact with other children and families. Birth – 5 years.

Created for babies, birth to 12 months, and their caregivers. Join us for 45 minutes of songs, bounces, tickling rhymes, finger plays and stories.

Specifically for ages 4-5: Unlock your child’s imagination, build confidence, and develop foundational early literacy skills in this Preschool Storytime. This fully immersive program will help prepare your preschooler for kindergarten through craft, activities, stories and more!

Practice your English and meet people in a friendly, relaxed setting. A facilitator will get the conversation started.

Curiosity in action! From invisible ink to slime, we will explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math each week with experiments and activities.

For ages 3-5 Creative Hands & Minds is a program that features songs, stories, rhymes and a craft for children and their caregiver to share. If your child loves creating and using their imagination through art, then Creative Hands & Minds is where it’s at.

It’s Nerf Night at the Library! We’re kicking things off with Family Edition. This round is for younger kids (under 8) who want to play but might be a bit nervous to go it alone. Each child is teamed up with a parent or caregiver (16+) and together they go forward to bravely battle in the stacks! Each registration is good for 1 child and their big person.

Nerf City is providing all blasters, balls, and face-shields. All you need to bring are your stealth moves, a water bottle, and your own face shield if you have one (no goggles).
