The Airdrie Lions Club will be visiting the library to provide free vision screening for children under 6 years of age.

Specifically for ages 4-5: Unlock your child’s imagination, build confidence, and develop foundational early literacy skills in this Preschool Storytime. This fully immersive program will help prepare your preschooler for kindergarten through craft, activities, stories and more!

Drop-In for 30 minutes of rhymes, songs, simple stories, fingerplays and movement. Connect with your little one in this fun and interactive program. It is also a great way to interact with other children and families. Birth – 5 years.

Unplug & Play Storytime encourages children and families to unplug from their screens and explore different ways of spending time together. Family play allows parents a glimpse into their child’s world.

For ages 3-5 Creative Hands & Minds is a program that features songs, stories, rhymes and a craft for children and their caregiver to share. If your child loves creating and using their imagination through art, then Creative Hands & Minds is where it’s at.

Created for babies, birth to 12 months, and their caregivers. Join us for 45 minutes of songs, bounces, tickling rhymes, finger plays and stories.

Created for preschoolers ages 1 -3 who need to move and actively participate. This 30-minute program focuses on simple action songs, finger plays, use of simple props, and simple stories.

Can’t make it out to the library? No Problem! Join us at Cedarwood Station for an interactive storytime with your child that includes literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays and body movements. The program welcomes children ages 0-5 and their caregivers.

Join us for 45 minutes of Wii sports, followed by 45 minutes of interactive stories and activities. These programs allow adults with disabilities and their caregivers to explore a variety of literacies as they enjoy fun and socializing in an inclusive atmosphere.

Make yourself some warm fuzzies! Bring your own projects or start a new one. Crochet a Christmas gift! All levels welcome. Ages 10-13
