Airdrie Public Library has organized 4 programs on topics that are important to know as an adult but are often over looked. These include Investing, Nutrition, Banking/Credit, and Job searching.

November 17 – Job Searching

Join Rocky View and Wheatland Employment Services as they lead a workshop on searching for jobs, what to do and what to avoid.

December 1 - Starting your investment journey

Investing can be part of a healthy financial future, providing you with greater personal freedom, a sense of security and the ability to afford the things you want in life. Join us as we explore the benefits of starting your investment journey and how to avoid common investing mistakes and fraud.

December 7 – Nutrition 101 (1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

Join AHS Dietician, Aldara MacKay, as she leads a presentation covering a variety of nutrition topics including, cooking for 1, grocery shopping, building a healthy plate, where to find food in Airdrie, and how to find good food resources online.

December 8 – What is Credit

Learn from ScotiaBank as they lead a presentation on credit. How it works, what a credit score is, how to get credit and more.
