Instagram Contest - November, 2019

For the month of November Airdrie Public Library is launching an Instagram contest just for youth (aged 10 and up) to express themselves!

Coding Ninjas - Mondays, Nov. 4-Dec. 9, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Children aged 8+ are welcome to learn all things code, including how to code you own games, understand computer language, share your creations and more!

Lego Club - Tuesdays, Sept. 10-Oct.15 & Nov. 5-Dec. 10, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Join us at this weekly drop-in to enjoy building, Lego challenges and make your own Lego stop motion movies

Full STEAM Ahead - Wednesdays, Sept. 11-Oct. 16 & Nov. 6-Dec. 11, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Join us Wednesdays for this drop in STEAM style program with activities designed to challenge and strengthen your noodle.

Reading Buddies - Thursdays, Nov. 14-Dec. 12, 4:15-5:15 p.m.

Make reading fun with Reading Buddies! Reading Buddies matches teen mentors with kids in Grades 2–4 for one-on-one mentorship to improve literacy and encourage reading. 

Makerspace 

Airdrie Public Library’s makerspace is an innovative community hub providing opportunities to create, engage, and discover using existing and emerging technologies.

TWEEN Zone 

Explore your creative side through themed activities including DIY projects, crafts, gaming, STEAM challenges and more! Ages 9-13.

Sunday Cinema - Oct. 20, Nov. 17, Dec. 8, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Enjoy a fun family movie at the library one Sunday a month. Bring your own snack.

Art Saturdays- Junior Artists - Sat. Nov. 30, 1-2:30 p.m.

Local artists share their work and passion to inspire young artists. Age. 9-14. 

Infant Massage - Tuesday Nov. 12, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Learn the loving art of infant massage and improve bonding time with your baby. 

Voice & Vision

This open event is a family friendly engaging evening celebrating the collaborative works of members of the Airdrie Writers Groups and local artists.
